Terms of service
These terms govern the use of this website and, together with each customer’s signed agreement, the Accivo platform.
The service
Accivo is a business-to-business platform for accounting offices: document intake, an AI-assisted bookkeeping queue, review and approval workflow, and a client portal. It is offered to businesses, not to consumers.
Accounts and subscriptions
An office subscribes to a package (see pricing); the package sets the usage the subscription includes. Payment is handled by Stripe. The details of a specific subscription — start date, fees, cancellation terms — are in the order the office agreed to, and that order prevails over this page where the two differ.
Acceptable use
Use the platform lawfully and only for your own office and clients. Do not attempt to access another office’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or use it to store or distribute unlawful content. We may suspend access that endangers the service or other customers, and will tell you why.
Your data
The accounting records and documents an office processes on the platform belong to the office and its clients. Our processing of them is governed by the data processing agreement signed with each office; personal data collected on this website is covered by the privacy policy.
AI-assisted features
Accivo’s AI features draft and suggest; they do not decide. Postings require review under the office’s configured policy, and the office remains responsible for its professional work product. We do not warrant that AI suggestions are free of errors.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited as set out in the customer agreement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page before they take effect. Questions go to hello@accivo.io.
